I’m walking along this flagstone path, here at Daigoji Temple, and it’s like walking through a tunnel of cherry blossoms. Isn’t it beautiful? There are over 1000 cherry trees here, in the compound at Daigoji Temple. And there are so many different kinds of cherry trees that the blossoms come out at different times. Usually you can only enjoy cherry blossoms for about a week, but here at Daigoji Temple you have 3 weeks, because the cherry blossoms are staggered in the time they come out.
