Located near the geographical center of Kyoto, KUFS (Kyoto University of Foreign Studies) has a great mix of students from all over Japan as well as from countries around the world. The total number of students is about 4,800 with more than 200 international students from over 70 countries. Courses in 19 languages are offered. Since 1947 KUFS has dedicated itself to encouraging young people to use their language abilities to promote world peace. In this video clip Jeff visits one of the cafeterias on campus and interviews some of the Japanese students.
